Lo Stivale, a tannery that produces only vachetta leather, is one of the most established tanneries in the industry, known as one of the "Three Families" of tanned leather (Badarassi, Lo Stivale, Tempesti) in Santa Croce, Italy.
Although not yet well known inJapan, we found this tannery by chance when we were looking for a leather for HITOE FOLD to replace Elvamat.
Compared to Elvamat, HITOE FOLD has a stronger and firmer image. Therefore, the outer leather is thinner than before, about 1.7~1.8mm, and the inside is thinner than before, about 1.0mm, giving a slightly slimmer overall impression.
The specifications have also been slightly improved to match the change in leather.
The back side has a polished finish, which reduces the risk of snagging when inserting banknotes. Dyeing is core-through (leather dyed all the way through), and even the back of the thinly strained leather is dyed beautifully.
The Bordeaux color will be available in a limited quantity of about 40 pieces. We recommend that you register for restocking notifications if you wish to purchase.
The second shipment will be Natural, made of Conceria 800 leather.
