Speaker on Protecting Forests (in response to the news of Ryuichi Sakamoto's death)

Ryuichi Sakamoto, one of Japan's leading musicians, has passed away. The beautiful melodies he created will surely continue to resonate in our hearts. We would like to express our deepest condolences.

SYRINX started as an audio brand, but its activities are connected with Ryuichi Sakamoto.

The "Log" speaker, one of SYRINX's representative products, is made of Ezo deerskin from the forest conservation group "more trees," of which Ryuichi Sakamoto was a representative.

We at more trees see deer as a blessing from the forest, and we hope to create new ways to utilize deer material in Japan as an effort to reduce the ever-increasing number of deer. (quoted from the more trees website)

Log was a product of this idea and received the "Social Products Award 2018 Special Prize" in recognition of its significance.

We have given shape to this product with the hope of contributing to the effective use of discarded Ezo sika deer, even if only in a small way, but unfortunately we are unable to do so, and this leather is not currently being produced. However, we will not forget the wishes of the deceased and will continue to search for activities that will lead to forest conservation.

Although the number of people who own this speaker is limited, we hope that you will listen to its sound while remembering Ryuichi Sakamoto.
