Reasons for ".audio
SYRINX began when architect Hirotaka Sato created speakers for a space he designed himself.
The speakers, characterized by their soft, heavy leather body, gained a reputation for their ethereal, clear sound. In response to this, the brand "SYRINX" was born as an audio brand, acquiring a patent.
This is why SYRINX's domain is ".audio."

And to leather items
Searching for leather that sounded good, we came across vachetta leather, tanned using traditional Italian methods. Its beautiful color and luster, enhanced by patina, allow one to fully appreciate the qualities of leather.
However, speaker production generates a large amount of leather scraps.
"We want to respectfully use every last bit of the life we've been given."
With this sentiment, we began developing leather items that utilize these scraps. Since then, vachetta leather has become the signature leather for SYRINX products.
And as SYRINX's first leather item, the iconic business card holder "Tsutsumu®" was born.

Hitoe® is born.
Following the launch of Tsutsumu®, we continued to release new products based on the theme of "more casual, more free," such as simple and portable iPhone cases, pen cases, and document cases.
We then realized that there was a demand for lightweight, portable wallets and began developing one.
This led to the creation of the ultra-thin wallet, "Hitoe® L-zip".
Our product development method is also unique.
We layer the meaning of "Designer to Consumer" onto D2C, directly introducing the designer's ideals to the public through crowdfunding. As a result, we evolve highly acclaimed ideas by incorporating user feedback.

Hitoe® Fold is born
After the HITOE® L-zip series, the masterpiece “Hitoe® Fold” was created.
Hitoe® Fold -Liscio- received an overwhelming number of pre-orders, leading to a waiting list of up to a year and a half.

Announced the Aria Series
We released the "Aria" series, which uses "BETA-BARI" (edge-to-edge bonding) of thinly skived leather, rather than traditional vachetta leather.
The first Aria product was "Tsutsumu Card Case Aria," the origin of SYRINX. This was followed by "Hitoe® Fold Aria." The crowdfunding for Hitoe® Fold Aria received the highest amount of applications in Japan, and Aria was established as SYRINX's top-tier model.
Furthermore, Hitoe® Fold Aria achieved an unprecedented 11 awards in world-renowned design competitions, including the Red Dot and iF Design awards, and received high acclaim both domestically and internationally.

Genealogy of Slim Bifold Wallets
The first Hitoe Fold was redesigned and completed its role in 2021 .

SDGs and SYRINX Fundraising
We have been working on environmental considerations in earnest.
The " Anywhere Showroom" program, which utilizes discarded B products and sample products, was launched.
The " Multi Ruler Card " program converts discarded dummy cards into usable cards.
The use of OPP bags for packpatina was discontinued in favor of paper sleeves. Initiatives to Reduce Plastic Waste
In addition, we launched the SRYINX Donation Program to raise funds for humanitarian aid in Ukraine and other countries.
