In Japan, there is a culture of carefully wrapping important items with wrapping cloths, fukusa, noshi bags, etc. used for gifts. This document case was designed based on the traditional Japanese aesthetic of "wrapping."
Elegantly removing your important documents from this case will add elegance to your presentation.

A3 without folding

Can store A3 paper — Can store A3 size documents

With an outer shape the same as A4 size, you can carry A3 drawings, documents, and sheet music without folding them. It can also hold A4 size clear files (w.220 h.310 mm).
There are also no stitches around the outside circumference, so there is no wasted size.

Can also hold a laptop and small items

It's not just for documents. It fits A4 size laptops and tablets (within 30.5cm width, 21.5cm depth, and 2cm height). It can also store small items such as pen cases and business card holders.
Everything is gently wrapped up, so you can head to your meeting with ease with just this case.

Wrapping important documents in the finest materials

The leather is traditional Italian Vachetta leather. It is smooth to the touch, and the more you use it, the deeper the color and luster will become. It is made from a single piece of leather measuring approximately 71 x 43 cm, allowing you to enjoy the texture of the material. The polished edge lines create a minimalist form that flows seamlessly.

Please note that due to the large size of the leather, natural marks (tiger stripes, blood vessels, small scratches, stains) cannot be avoided.

Origins

Foschia is the Italian word for "fog. Foschia is characterized by a white wax-covered look like morning mist. The more the leather is used, the more the wax permeates the leather, giving it a translucent appearance.

Tanning and Manufacturing

The leather is made from the shoulders of adult Scandinavian cows. After vegetable tanning, the surface is lightly buffed and white waxed. The tanning material used is cod, a legume native to South America. Although rare, it is the lightest colored vegetable tannin and has a lightfast finish. It can be tanned whiter than usual, and the beautiful light color is achieved using only dyes, not pigments.

Maintenance

Wax gradually permeates into the leather, giving it an elegant and natural shine. Since it also contains a moderate amount of oil, oil care is not necessary unless you are concerned about scratches or dryness.
Light colors have a delicate surface and are more prone to stains and scratches, so care should be taken when handling them.

I carry it around with my laptop, charging adapter, mobile battery, etc.

If you don't wear it, there will be a gap of about one finger, but the height is just right so it doesn't slip off.

Small items can slip out when opening the bag, so be careful. <br>I don't have any particular problems with small items because they stay neatly organized in a small pouch and don't slip out.

The charger and other items are thick and will bulge a little, but they will fit inside, so this is enough for the minimum amount of nomad work.

Above all, when I took it out, I was so pleased when the person I was meeting with commented that it looked really cool, with a unique texture and appearance.

There is one thing I would like to point out. If you do not put your pens in the pen case, there is a possibility that they may fall through the gaps, so please be careful.

Work is fun

Due to the nature of my job, when I meet with clients I bring an iPad, a company-issued notebook, and an A4 clear file.

Until now, I had been keeping my iPad in a leather case, my notebook without a case, and my clear files in a cardboard document case, but I was unhappy with the unsightly design of the notebook provided by my company and the document case becoming wrinkled.

Now I store all my items in this Tsutsumu, as well as my pen case Mekuru, and go into the meeting room. I love that each item can be moved neatly without getting scattered, and above all, the texture of the leather becomes even more attractive with use, compared to the cardboard document case that was the best when new.

The thick leather used gives it a great texture, and I find myself touching it whenever I have free time. However, because the construction is very simple, the case is small, so the aforementioned items take up less space in my bag than before, and the bag doesn't bulge.

There is nothing more satisfying than being able to work with high-quality products.

This is a product that allows you to enjoy the gradual changes in scent and color over a long period of time.

I use it for work to store my 13-inch laptop and pens and other office supplies. If it's not the right size, it will slip, so you need to be careful that small items don't slide out when you open it, and if you plan to store a PC in it, I think it's a good idea to measure it carefully before purchasing.

I could see from the product images that it was white when unused, but it was whiter than I expected, and it looked like it was covered in mist, so I was surprised when I saw the actual product after it arrived. At the same time, I was really looking forward to seeing how it would change over time.

I've been using it for about 10 days now, basically just carrying it in my bag when commuting to work and holding it in my hand for short periods when moving around the office.

Every time I use it, I can see the mist on the parts of my bag that come into contact with my hands or the material clearing up little by little, and I enjoy the difference in shade between the rest of the bag and the mist on other parts.

The leather smell is also very pleasant.
Overall, the whiteness of the fog still remains thick.

In terms of the size of the laptop that can be stored, the maximum dimensions are roughly the same as the 13-inch MacBook Pro listed for reference in the product description, so it's safe to assume that anything larger than this will be difficult to store.
