I was fed up with the thickness and size of my previous wallets, so this product was exactly what I was looking for. The card capacity is also outstanding. You don't need to store each card separately. Main cards can go in the side with the zipper, and membership cards can go on the other zipper side where you take out bills — it's nice to be able to separate them like that.
The coin storage is also sufficient.
The well-thought-out structure has made carrying a wallet no longer a burden.
I bought the Hitoe® L-zip as it was the fourth version upgrade. It remains thin and easy to use, and thanks to the updated shape, the perceived storage capacity has doubled. Even with 16 cards, it hardly bulges, and yet the overall size (width and height) is smaller than before, which is surprising.
The inner coin pocket and card holder feel more substantial than the previous model, giving a sense of security. The card pocket on the short side is a bit stiff at first, but it should become easier to use as the leather breaks in. The structure fits the number of cards, so even with just one card there's no worry about it falling out — that's another good point.
The zipper is still YKK Excella, moving super smoothly. It's a highly completed long wallet that makes you wonder, "Can it get any better?"
I purchased the Hitoe® Fold - Liscio in black. I'm satisfied with the leather texture and the thinness of the wallet. I use it in my back pocket and it doesn't bulge much — I found a cool wallet.
The thinness is really great. It doesn't take up space when put in a bag or pocket. This is exactly the wallet I wanted.
The unique coin compartment requires some consideration about how many coins to carry, but since I currently manage with a small number, it fits my lifestyle.
Despite being extremely thin, usability and visibility are excellent.
Cards are stacked, but because one side of the card pocket is not sewn, they're easy to take out and highly visible.
The coin pocket is made deeper than the previous model, so even with a 500-yen coin inside, it doesn't compromise closing operation. It's truly surprising that thickness hardly changes even with about 20 coins.
Putting bills in the bill pockets on both sides doesn't get caught in the zipper, and even when you put receipts and small items, it doesn't get in the way and keeps a slim, stylish profile.
It's thin, but opens properly where needed, so there's no hassle when paying.
I switched from a thin bi-fold wallet (another brand) after much deliberation and ended up with this long wallet — I'm really glad I did.
For me, it's the optimal and best long wallet, and I'm looking forward to continuing to use it.
I learned about the 5th anniversary model and pre-ordered it. I was worried about color differences between the phone display and the actual product, but it matched my expectations, so I was relieved.
Since I mainly use cashless payments, I don't use a wallet as much as I used to, but I think the simplicity, compactness, and functionality are very good, so I want to continue using this series when I replace my wallet in the future.
I tried two high-end brands and one famous leather brand over a year and none felt right, and then I found SYRINX.
I had used their long wallet before, so I trusted the leather quality and had high expectations this time too.
After about three months of waiting, the Hitoe® Fold - Antico finally arrived.
The leather texture makes you want to keep touching it.
It satisfies the desire to own it and is very usable. I'm satisfied.
I also like the thinness of the long wallet, so I use it occasionally, but after applying cream it became glossy, so if you want to keep the original texture, be careful with maintenance.
There are no metal fittings; it fastens by hooking onto the card, making it very thin and stylish. I switched from Abrasus and I like using this one.
I didn't particularly care about wallets before, but as mine got smaller over the years I realized carrying a large wallet was a bit inconvenient.
I searched online for small wallets (I didn't like trifold wallets because of bills) and tried various ones, then found Hitoe.
Many foldable wallets failed because buttons or metal parts break, rust, or tear, so I liked that Hitoe doesn't use metal parts and decided to buy it.
For someone who only carries ID and credit cards, Less looked like the perfect solution the moment I saw the product image — it felt like the completion of what I was looking for.
It finally arrived yesterday; I sprayed it with water-repellent and plan to transfer my contents and start using it the day after tomorrow.
I think this wallet manages bulky cards and coins with ideas and ingenuity to keep it thin.
When I show it to colleagues and acquaintances, they are surprised and say, "Isn't that too thin!?" As it breaks in with use, it becomes comfortable in hand and makes inserting and removing cards and coins easy, and the leather surface gains character, making you attached to it.
A downside is that once you get used to this wallet, you can't tolerate thicker wallets, but it's a very good product.
By the way, because it's so thin I often lose track of where I put it, so I'd like future designs to include attachment points for straps or chains, like a tab or hole for hardware, without spoiling the design.
I've been searching for a compact wallet. It's thinner than I expected yet easy to use, and the simple design is perfect. I just bought it, so I'm looking forward to the leather gaining depth!
I think both functionality and design are wonderful. This is my third one, and comparing them you can clearly see improvements. You can feel the company's commitment to making a great product.
I found this product while looking for a small, thin wallet.
The opening and closing mechanism is well thought out and very easy to use.
Above all, the mechanism that prevents cards and coins from falling out was surprising.
For me, who doesn't carry much cash or large bags, it's an easy-to-use wallet and perfect for a minimalist!
Thin! The leather is solid and easy to use! I'm still using cash a lot so coins can build up and be a bit stressful, but it's thin and fits well in my bag — overall awesome!
