Japanese beauty that embraces the soul
In Japan, there is a culture of carefully wrapping important items with wrapping cloths, fukusa, noshi bags, etc. used for gifts. This document case was designed based on the traditional Japanese aesthetic of "wrapping."
Elegantly removing your important documents from this case will add elegance to your presentation.
A3 without folding
With an outer shape the same as A4 size, you can carry A3 drawings, documents, and sheet music without folding them. It can also hold A4 size clear files (w.220 h.310 mm).
There are also no stitches around the outside circumference, so there is no wasted size.
Can also hold a laptop and small items
It's not just for documents. It fits A4 size laptops and tablets (within 30.5cm width, 21.5cm depth, and 2cm height). It can also store small items such as pen cases and business card holders.
Everything is gently wrapped up, so you can head to your meeting with ease with just this case.
Wrapping important documents in the finest materials
The leather is traditional Italian Vachetta leather. It is smooth to the touch, and the more you use it, the deeper the color and luster will become. It is made from a single piece of leather measuring approximately 71 x 43 cm, allowing you to enjoy the texture of the material. The polished edge lines create a minimalist form that flows seamlessly.
Please note that due to the large size of the leather, natural marks (tiger stripes, blood vessels, small scratches, stains) cannot be avoided.
Beautiful details
The ends are lined, dyed and polished.
Origins
Foschia, meaning "fog" in Italian, is characterized by its surface covered with white wax, resembling morning mist. As it is used, the wax penetrates the leather, revealing a translucent appearance.
Tanning and Manufacturing
The leather used is shoulder (from the shoulder area) of adult cattle from Northern Europe. After vegetable tanning, the surface is lightly buffed (polished) and then treated with white wax. The tanning agent used is tara pods from the leguminous tara plant native to South America. Although rare, it is the lightest colored and most light-resistant among vegetable tannins. This allows for a whiter tan than usual, achieving beautiful light colors with dyes only, without the use of pigments. Natural marks may also be present.
LWG (Leather Working Group) environmental certification Gold rank.
Maintenance
As the wax gradually penetrates, it develops an elegant and natural luster. Furthermore, it contains an appropriate amount of oil, so oil care is not necessary unless scratches or dryness become a concern. For more details, please refer to here.
Light colors have a delicate surface and are prone to visible stains and scratches, so careful handling is required.

About Scuff Marks
Where the white wax is rubbed, the natural color of the leather appears, making it look darker and temporarily resembling fine scratches. As the wax penetrates during normal use, the initial marks gradually become less noticeable and are covered with a translucent luster.
Fine scuffs and indentations may occur during the manufacturing and packpatina stages, so there may be individual differences in how the wax remains when first purchased. The leather itself is not damaged, and you can rest assured that it will become uniform as it ages.
About Creases
Due to the wax, Foschia leather tends to develop creases on its surface when bent sharply. These creases will be covered with a luster as the leather is used, and the appearance will gradually settle.
The video below shows an example where the entire item was intentionally bent to create creases and then used for about a month in a back trouser pocket. The luster increases, and the crease patterns settle into a calm appearance.
The Tsutsumu® A3 series has received high praise both in Japan and internationally, along with numerous accolades and awards.

Keychain. I have purchased business card holders, pen cases, wallets, etc. I like the quality of all of them. The designs are also innovative and fun to use. The document case did not have a button backing, so I inquired about it, and I was very surprised by how quickly they responded. It made me feel that they are very dedicated to creating their products. I will continue to use them carefully.
