One idea changes everything
Even a small change in thinking can change the structure itself.
One of these is the patented "inner hook" technology that symbolizes SYRINX.
The reverse idea of using the card as a "clasp" solved the underlying issues in wallet structure with just one idea.
In typical design, solutions are layered on top of each other for each problem.
A lid is attached to prevent it from falling, and a hook or zipper is added to open and close it.
However, they add complexity to the structure and increase thickness and weight.
In order to break this chain of causality, we sought an answer with the simplest and most rational structure.
The simple act of "hooking" prevents the bag from falling, provides a fastener, and allows for smooth opening and closing.
There is no metal and no extra leather overlap.
For the first time, thinness, ease of use, and beauty have been harmonized in one idea.
In addition, the notch located in the same position as the inner hook acts as a "handhold" for your finger, making it easier to remove cards.
Furthermore, there is evidence of thought put into safety.
The hooks will not come off even if you try to open it upside down, and coins will not spill even if you turn it upside down.
Without this small part, the Hitoe® Fold would not be as thin, beautiful, and streamlined as it is today.
One idea solves many problems neatly and beautifully.
This is an idea that is also found in architecture, integrating multiple elements into a single structure.
Design born from thought, not from feeling.
This is the "form of thinking" that SYRINX pursues.
