All previous products used vegetable-tanned leather finished with dye only. Characterized by a transparent appearance, color and luster that increase with patina, and a moist feel, it allows you to enjoy the best qualities of leather. However, it also had the disadvantages of being easily scratched and vulnerable to water and dirt.

The newly adopted leather is tanned with synthetic tannin called white tannin. After that, it is barrel-dyed with dye (aniline) and then finished by spraying pigment five times. As a result, it is strong against water, dirt, scratches, and heat, and there is almost no patina over time.

The raw hide used is single butt, which is the back part of the胴回り. This is the part of the raw hide with the highest fiber density. In addition, it is shrunken by drumming. Shrink processing makes scratches and wrinkles less noticeable, allowing it to maintain a beautiful state for a long time. Above all, because the fibers of single butt are delicate, it is possible to achieve a beautiful expression with fine wrinkles.
